Over these 22 years, I have had the privilege of serving in diverse educational roles as a teacher, academic leader, Vice-Principal, and Principal. During the initial seven years of my career, I worked extensively with students at the Primary and Middle School levels, teaching across different grades and content areas. These formative years helped me understand that every child is unique, every learner has potential, and effective education begins with understanding the child..
I subsequently served as a Vice-Principal for two years, gaining valuable experience in academic planning, teacher development, student wellbeing, parent engagement, school operations, and collaborative leadership. For the past several years, I have had the privilege of serving as the Principal of ACHARIYA SIKSHA MANDIR, Senior Secondary CBSE School, Puducherry, where my focus has been on building a culture of academic excellence, accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement..
MY BELIEF ABOUT EDUCATION.
Education today is preparing children not merely for examinations, but for a world that is changing at an unprecedented pace.
Our students may enter professions that do not yet exist, work with technologies that are still emerging, and face challenges that cannot always be solved using answers from a textbook. Therefore, our responsibility as educators extends beyond delivering curriculum. We must equip children with the ability to think critically, communicate confidently, collaborate meaningfully, adapt continuously, solve problems creatively, and learn independently.
I strongly believe that the classroom should not be a place where students simply receive information. It should be a place where they question, explore, investigate, create, reflect, and construct knowledge.
